I would like some information on the marketing and production of ice cream

Our ice cream is all ice cream, we achieve perfect richness by ensuring our ice-creams contain no excess air.

Quality tests take place at every stage of production.

	Ingredients suppliers are visited and tested.
	Manufacturing processes and equipment are checked daily.

Do you use raw eggs in your ice cream?
Häagen-Dazs uses only fresh egg yolk which has been double pasteurised making it safe for consumption. The egg yolk acts as a natural emulsifier which helps the texture and body of the ice cream, it also provides a delicate flavour.

Is Häagen-Dazs suitable for vegetarians?
All our ice cream products are suitable for lacto-ovo vegetarians. The fat content of Häagen-Dazs ice cream is derived purely from fresh cream and the emulsifying agent is egg-yolk. Häagen-Dazs Sorbets contain the gelling agent pectin (which is derived from fruit), thus holding to our commitment to use only the finest, pure natural ingredients.

Does Baileys ice cream contain alcohol?
Häagen-Dazs Baileys ice cream and Häagen-Dazs Baileys Stick Bar products contain alcohol at amounts of less than 0.5% alcohol per 100ml of product.
