I’ve been invited to Ibiza for the weekend to hang out at my friend’s opulent villa but I’m struggling with my wardrobe, well actually I’m not struggling with my wardrobe at all, I’m struggling with shutting my suitcase as it contains all of my wardrobe.

No matter how many times I’ve jumped up and down on it, it just won’t fasten - indicating I may have packed too much. Hmmmmmm…
So I have decided to take the sensible approach - empty out my suitcase and then repack it with nothing but the essentials - neon feathers, a luxurious belt purse (no, not a bum bag) and vertiginous espadrilles!

Oh come on! I’m going to Ibiza – a playground for the rich and famous, what were you expecting me to take? Forget the usual suspects of matted hair comb and tired-looking sarong making the cut - mundane practicality has been tossed aside in favour of super-luxe fashion. So now that I’m repacking and taking less with me here is my top five essential beach wardrobe pieces:

The swimming costume

Forget bikini’s - this summer is all about the one-piece. For sexy poolside glamour for grown-ups, take your cue from Emilio Pucci and flaunt a body beautiful in this Nastri cutout printed swimsuit. The shoes
